Lorenzo Roccia serves as Chairman and CEO of Transatlantic Holdings, an international financial holding company with interests in the financial services, logistics, energy, and beer sectors in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. ​

He is the Founder & Chairman of Transatlantic Power and Skyline Renewables, which has become one of the largest renewable companies in the U.S., and was created in partnership with the Ardian Group ​

He founded Roccia Ventures, L.P. and became a major shareholder of and Senior Analyst in the Private Equity Group at Wit Soundview - an internet and technology Investment Bank (1998). Roccia Ventures, L.P. became one of the largest shareholders of the bank along with the Goldman Sachs Group, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and Mitsubishi Corporation. The firm was taken public and subsequently sold to the Charles Schwab Group. ​

Since August of 2021 is member of the Board of Directors of The Lion Electric Company (NYSE: LEV) ​

He served on President Barack Obama's Presidential Transition Team in its Treasury Department. ​

He served as Chairman of the Democratic Party HLC, an appointment made by Democratic Party Chairman Governor Tim Kaine. ​

From 2002 to 2004, he served as a National Finance Co-Chairman for Senator Kerry's Presidential Campaign and Chairman of the Senator's Hispanic Leadership Council (HLC). ​

From 1996 to 1998, he was a financial advisor at Salomon Smith Barney.​
