Omar Kodmani, Partner, serves as President of Transatlantic Power Capital.​

Omar joined the group in 2025 with the ambition to expand and cultivate relationships with industry partners and institutional investors globally.

Omar has 30+ years of experience in asset management with leading traditional and alternative investment firms in New York and London - Scudder Investments, Permal Group (Entrust), and Ruffer LLP. Throughout this period, in addition to management responsibilities, Omar specialized in building relationships with sophisticated allocators globally.

For almost 20 years, Omar led the expansion of Permal's hedge fund business to over $30 billion in assets under management, and was President and CEO of the firm from 2011 to 2016; he subsequently led Ruffer's business and client development strategy to grow to $30 billion.

Omar holds a BA from Columbia, an MBA from NYU, a CFA, and a GC from LSE; he has a multi-cultural background and speaks French and Arabic.​
